<b>Fire Prevention for Combustible Mulch</b></p>
<p style=" font-size:10px;line-height:11px;"><small>The following are some recommended fire prevention tips when using combustible mulch around your home or commercial business:</small></p>
<ul style=" font-size:10px;line-height:11px;">
<li>Keep combustible mulch 18 inches from the building or combustible portions of the building (deck), within that 18 inches a non combustible mulch can be used such as crushed rock, brick, or pea gravel.</li>
<li>Combustible mulch layers should be no more than three inches thick.</li>
<li>Larger piles of mulch should not be exposed to the sun if possible.</li>
<li>Keep combustible mulch used near or around a building moist if possible.</li>
<li>Ensure that smoking materials are properly disposed of in or around combustible mulch outside commercial buildings (that fall under current smoking regulations) ensure that there are proper smoking receptacles to discard smoking materials so they are not discarded in combustible mulch.</li>
